Maytag Bottom Freezer Door Handle Loose

Maytag bottom freezer door handle loose. If your bottom freezer refrigerator handle is loose making noise or even falls off after use it was not installed properly by the owner or installer. There is a lot of force needed to unclip the handle. Download a copy of the installation instructions. The setscrews might have only been partially tightened when the handles were installed. Check the setscrews per the instructions below.

To do this grip the handle securly and yank the handle straight to the left and it will unclip and pull off. The handles are installed by the owner or installer as directed in the installation instructions. Lock not working chest and upright freezer.
