The mc90 12s he had custom built for simulclass mk iiis and mk ivs were in the top 5 of ceramic magnet combo speakers ever made imho. The vintage 30 is well suited for sparkling clean tones massive high gain and anything in between. My rep told me there are small differences between stock celestion speakers and black shadow labeled speakers but i don t know for certain. Celestion vintage 30 custom made for mesa in ipswich england used in our closed back rectifier cabinets and some of our combos like the express 5 25 and roadster 2x12 combo. There was a 50w eminence speaker vs 12 there was a 150w eminence speaker ms 12 there was a 200w evm speaker evm 12.
